Details:

Our Yellow Shrimp are very consistent, with the rare culls being only slightly less yellow than we’d like. They often have the racing stripes, which therefore gives them other nicknames such as “24k” and/or “Golden backs”. There are mixed reviews on Yellow Shrimp being harder to breed or not as hardy compared to other Neocaridinas, but we have not observed this from our particular stock. Within the 1-2 years we’ve had them, they have caught up to the rest of our tanks and are hardy and prolific. They do seem somewhat skittish, being sensitive to sudden movements. The bright yellow will add a great splash of color to a planted tank with dark/black substrate.
