Details:

Super Tiger Shrimp are selectively bred from regular Tiger shrimps. The most notable difference between a regular Tiger and Super Tiger is the emphasis of yellow/orange coloration of their tail and “nose”, making for a starker contrast through their striped body. They are Caridinas, and as most Caridina Tigers, they can be difficult to keep compared to Neocaridina Shrimp as they are not as hardy to fluctuating water parameters. We keep ours in Neo parameters with overall success, but most colonies of Super Tigers tend to be kept in Caridina parameters (lower pH and TDS).

Their unique tiger striped patterns are unique and contrast best with substrates that are neither too light or dark as their see-through body may make them camouflage with the background.
