Green Jades are the relatively newer selectively bred Neocaridina available to the hobby. We are particularly proud of our Green Jade Shrimps, both due to how far we’ve come in stabilizing the line compared to when we first obtained them, and their overall virility, hardiness and coloration.
You should note that Green Jades are overall not as stable compared to other Neocaridina and there are varieties of green hues that may suit your preferences more. Our Green Jades are dark green, and may even appear black depending on your lighting and substrate. Thus, please be advised of this fact if you are looking for a brighter yellow-green that others may offer. As these are darker Green Jades, we recommend a light to brown substrate, with non-dark green plants such as buces so that they are showcased better.
