These nano fish (formally known as Galaxy Rasboras) are very popular in the aquatics hobby for their small size, overall hardiness and coloration. They should be kept in small shoals at least, and are very skittish. Thus they should not be kept with carnivorous or highly active larger fish as they will be outcompeted. However, with sufficient hiding spots and greenery, their playful personality and fiery finnage soon showcases why they are a popular fish among hobbyists.

- Colony Notes: We have successfully kept them with shrimp, but they will most definitely pick off shrimplets. We keep small groups of 3 in breeding tanks, but should be kept in 10+ gallons for display tanks if you intend for larger groups. We do not breed for quantity, only collecting fry/eggs when we come across them, and thus rarely have large numbers in stock.
